Some Objectives as a member and/or as an officer:
Perform LU Recording Secretary duties as described in UBC Constitution.
Never to be bought and paid for.
Remove dictatorships/oligarchies, implement democracies.
Not seek or accept employment at the NYCDCC or any other labor organization while an officer (and/or delegate) of LU157.
Agitate, Educate, Organize.
Greater disclosure/transparency of union activities and financings.
Better access to information.
More frequent communication.
Work for the betterment of all members.
Reduce the number of hours of worked per day while increasing the hourly wage.
Provide service wholly divorced from partisan politics, race, or sex.
One Member, One Vote - direct democracy for not only LU officers and delegates but also NYCDCC officers and directors and UBCJA officers as well.
Member Ratification of Council By-Laws.
Member Ratification of CBA's/PLA's.
NYCDCC OWL - NYC Local Union members go out before others.
Against full mobility.
Better organizing efforts.
Better reporting of organizing activities.
Without trade raiding, add more skills and to cover all construction markets for more employment opportunities.

Positively receive and act upon the concerns and interests of members; invite free and open constructive criticism and debate.
Inspire and educate before forcing mandates and fining.
Better control over spending.
Better safety and health measures.
